Do you think my friend should dump her boyfriend?

I totally agree that she should end the relationship, He is mentally abusing her and for some reason she feels that she is not worthy of a good relationship. Is there abuse in her family? That would explain a lot. Your friend is acting like a door mat and he will continue to treat like one until she stands up for herself. Love does not hurt. He should treat her like a princess. Also, he may not like her friends, but as a boyfriend he should at least treat them with respect. Afterall, if you are her friend, she should be angry with him treating you this way. Be supportive but continue to encourage her to find someone that will be as sweet as she is.
