Hypercam screen capture problems...?

When I try to record the game Portal with Hypercam 2, things like the Weighted Storage Cube, the bed and Neon sign disappear and reappear in the recorded footage, but they are fine when I am playing the game. Can any one help I have a Dell Inspiron with 2GB of ram, and an intel internal graphics card. Also, does anyone know the best frame rate for hypercam 2?
