What are some of the great things about adopting a pet in need of a home?

Make her understand that you can afford the cage and food most importantly. Always be polite and NEVER whine if told to help clean up, trust me that wont work in your favour. nagging will not help either, every day or two perhaps "refer" to rabbits and understanding what she feels towards a new pet and trying to work around it with her. Make sure she is in a good mood aswell, maybe at a cafe or something talk about it? I agree with CF_ (is it?)
