Anyone's dog ever had Parvo?

Parvo is not something that can be caught again. My dog had parvo and the only effect it really had on her was her size. your dog's personality will be un-affected dont worry. I think that you should have your dog stay with you during her recovery or at least as much of it as the vet will allow. (depending on when shes released) that way your dog will know your there for her and be at ease knowing shes got someone with her. However most dogs dieing within 72 hours is a myth. Parvo can lay dormant in dogs for several weeks without any signs. I wish you and your dog all the best, give her a pet for me!
